Yor Appliances were in need of a two brochures promoting their products that could be picked up by builders and developers in store (trade brochure) or packaged with items bought online (retail brochure), making customers aware of their diverse range of goods to encourage the up sell of kitchen appliances. The brochure had to be a trade style catalogue allowing people to quickly flick through it to identify products sold, and it needed to be split in to Taps, Sinks, cookers and general accessories. |
Straight away our designers in Leeds looked at ways in saving Yor-appliances money by creating one brochure to suit all. This was achieved by creating a cover design that used strong imagery leaning more to the retail sector, while the inside was more of a ‘Wickes’ style tradesman’s catalogue. By simply changing the message on the front cover distinguished the two target markets which enabled us to half the cost of artwork and design saving Yor Appliances pounds father than pence. Straight away the brochure was a hit. With our print procurement team encouraging Yor Appliances to print the trade brochure on a lighter stock, they took our advise and was proven to be more economical to produce than the Customer version held in store, which meant Yor Appliances could be more frivolous with the amount of brochures they sent out. Therefore brochures were included every time a product was dispatched and new orders increased by 200% with in the first quarter. View Site >http://www.yor-appliances.co.uk
